Whitewebbs – Rd 1 v Easthampstead
Result: 116-95
The new format of the Whitewebbs saw 2 players from each team playing at home and 2 players playing away. The team with the highest aggregate individual stableford points wins the match.
Susan and Doreen played at home and Gina and Veronica played away.
Despite a nice sunny day and dry condition, the RPGC team were overcome by the opposing team losing 95 points to Easthampstead’s 116 points.

Whitewebbs – Rd 1 v Hoebridge B
Result: 137-117 win

Whitewebbs – Rd 2 at Hoebridge B
Result: 1½ 3½
The ladies had a bye in the first round and were drawn at home in round 2 against “Hoebridge B”.
The team put up a good fight but were unable to overcome the notoriously strong Hoebridge.
Well done to Val for her win, Susan for her half and to Rianda, Kate, and Maureen for their battling performances and close results.
Whitewebbs – Rd 1 at Hoebridge
Result: Loss 3-2
Harriet, Di, Veronica, Cheryl and Susan played against Hoebridge Ladies who were the finalist last year.
It was a closely contested match that went right up to the last game, but sadly we lost 3-2 to an extremely tough opposition. Harriet and Cheryl held their own very convincingly winning 3-2 and 5-4 respectively.
Well done to everyone for coming so close against a very good team.
Whitewebbs – Team A Rd 2 at Hoebridge
Result: 1-4 Loss
The 5 strong Ladies team participated in a 2nd round match in the White Webbs on Sunday June 1st.
Hoebridge is a great home course and tricky for visiting teams. Sadly our ladies were beaten 4- 1. Ros Gray who is in great form won her match convincingly!

Whitewebbs – Team B Rd 1 at Portsmouth
Result: 3-2 Loss
Richmond Park B team travelled to Portsmouth for the first round of the competition – against last year’s winners. It was a tough draw for Team B, consisting of Tracy Wright, Lorna White, Maureen Slade, Jayne Maxwell and Ann Gardner.
The match was played in wind and rain on a beautiful, challenging Portsmouth course in a closely contested match that went right up to the last game. We lost 2-3 but we all had fun and all played extremely well against tough opposition.
Well done to all the team especially in coming so close against a very good opponent on a difficult course!
Whitewebbs – Team A Rd 1 against Iver
Result: 3-2 Win
In the first round Team A was drawn to play at home to Iver on Saturday 12th April. Captained by Di Jackett the other 4 team members were Lia Donath, Veronica Mitchell, Cheryl Woodhouse and Ros Gray.
In a close fought match on Dukes, Richmond Park held on to win 3-2 and will now be playing either Hoebridge or Blue Mountain in the 2nd Round.

Whitewebbs – Team A Rd 1 at Bird Hills
Result: 4-1 Loss
We played our second round match of the White Webbs on Saturday 16th at Bird Hills near the very pretty village of Holyport.
Unfortunately we were beaten convincingly 4-1 with our only success being Lorna who gave 20 shots but still managed to win her game. Well done Lorna!! and thanks to Maureen, Ros L and Veronica for playing for the team.
