President’s Putter

Posted in Competitions

The President again proffered a drink on him for those who beat his score and then proceeded to return one of his best scores to ensure it didn’t empty his wallet! Only 4 people beat his score of 38.

Probably just as well for the ladies that Ray Esin didn’t make the Bontor yesterday as he was the runaway winner with 44 points, earning him a handicap cut of 2.4. In second place and 5 points behind was Paul Patching. The men received one additional shot today. Results…

John Fordham recorded two 2s and having scored just 9 points on the front 9 upped his game somewhat on the back 9 for 23 points, just pipped by Ray’s 24.

Tim also won his ‘nearest the pin in 2 on the 17th for the men, with Fiona Coombe, taking the ladies’ nearest-in-two prize on the 18th.
