2006 Bournemouth Open

A fantastic week was had by all at making the pilgrimage to Bournemouth this year. Perfect sunny weather was moderated by sea breezes and with the normally immaculate greens – especially at Meyrick Park.

RPGC highlights included Toby finishing 8th in the Men's 72 hole, Ros & myself finishing 5th in the mixed foursomes and Toby & myself just out of the frame (11th out of 74) in the Men's greensomes.

And perhaps herald a return to the halcyon days of the late 80s/90s when RPGC representation was high, with perhaps a new dawn emerging for rapscallions from Ludlow GC!
