2006 Ladies Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the ladies section was held on Saturday 2nd December 2006 at 11.30 am at Brula, Crown Road, St. Margarets.

The new committee was duly elected as follows:

Vice Captain Diane Jackett

Handicap Secretary Julie Smith

Hon. Secretary Sonia Inniss

Hon. Treasurer Maureen Slade

Members - Lorna White, Jan Oliver, Anne Gardner

The retiring committee members, Sheena Harrington and Gill Hibbs, were thanked for all their work over the past years.

It was noted that we now have 40 lady members and we have enquiries from several others. This is the largest membership for some years.

The lady captain announced that she would be introducing a new competion for 2007 - a pairs matchplay knockout.

It was agreed that the Lady Captain would nominate a charity (preferably local) during her captaincy. Certain fund raising activities would be organised though the year for this.

Luncheon was held after the AGM at Brula, and the venue well received.
