| The Hawtree is a national mixed foursome knockout
competition run by the NAPGC. The earlier rounds are regional. The format is
mixed foursomes match play.
Richmond Park Golf Club has entered two teams this year. The team members are selected by the Club Captains for each round. Team One and Team Two details and results for each round of the competition are set out below. Check back regularly to see how the teams gets on. |

Team One fell to a brave 4-1 defeat against an impressive team from Abbey Hill Golf Club. The visitors from Milton Keynes fielded a strong combination of players with handicaps ranging from 3 to 36 - half were in single figures. The pairing of Paul & Doreen produced the only win for the home team. Pat & Di put in a creditable show by taking Abbey Hill's anchor pairing to the 18th. There was perfect golfing weather, and the Dukes Course was looking its best this year after some comprehensive grass cutting by the course management this week. Good luck to Abbey Hill in the next round! |
