2003 Bontor Trophy |
2002 | 2004 | |
The Bontor match is the annual men vs. ladies event. The
format is singles matchplay. The two Captains go head-to-head. The remaining matches are drawn in strict handicap order. As in regular matchplay, the higher handicapper receives an allowance of the full difference between the handicaps of the two players. The handicaps shall be adjusted if necessary for any stroke allowances that may be relevant for mixed competitions (click here for details). The Bontor Trophy is awarded on the day of the event to the winning Captain. No further prizes are awarded, although it has been known for a Wooden Spoon to find its way to the man who loses by the largest margin. This year the Bontor Trophy takes place on Saturday 9 August. The tee time is 13:04 on the Dukes Course. The Captain has requested that all players arrive by 12:30. Sandwiches afterwards at £3.50 per person. |
