The Ladies Section plays a friendly match against Mitcham Golf Club every year consisting of separate home and away legs.

Home Leg

Result: Win 3½ - ½

On a rare hot and sultry day this year, the home leg of the Mitcham Match was played on 9th June on the Duke's course. The format was 4 ball better ball match play with 3/4 the difference of the lowest handicap in each 4 ball (there is probably a better way of saying this!).

The win to Richmond Park was convincing 3½ to ½.

Richmond Park have held the trophy for the last three years and will only require a halved match to do so again on the return leg on 11th August.

On Sat 11th August a team of 8 Ladies played in the Away Leg of the Mitcham Friendly.

The team consisted of -

It was an eventful day's golf played in good spirits.

Maureen and Louise and Sheena and Lia played well as pairings and won their matches. Well done to them and thanks to all the ladies who took part.

Richmond Park have managed to hold onto the "Rich Mitch" trophy for another year - now 4 years in a row!
