Result: Win 3-1
Overall result: Win 4-4

Having won the "Rich Mitch" Cup for the last few years things were hanging by a thread this year, after a comprehensive 3:1 loss to Mitcham in the away match earlier in the year.

The return match on Dukes was held in awful weather and was fiercely contested. I am proud to say that the Richmond team won 3:1 at home to tie the match and retain the trophy!

Result: Loss 3-1

It was a perfect, sunny day to play golf as Doreen Dolby, Julie Smith, Ann Gardner, Lia Donath, Tracy Wright, Louise Williams, Molly Hood and Jayne Maxwell went to Mitcham to play the away leg of the annual friendly.

Well done to Julie and Doreen who won their match but unfortunately, after hard fought matches, the other three games lost. It was a most enjoyable day, however, and we still have the opportunity to retain the trophy by winning our return match in August.
