Under grey clouds and threatening skies 14 pairs took to Duke’s course to enjoy the popular format of American greensomes in the Ladies Invitation.

The weather turned out to be clement although overcast and during the superior refreshments provided by the ladies afterwards the winners and runners up were announced:

1st Jayne Maxwell and Graeme Syme with a runaway 44 points

2nd Sheena Harrington and Martin Wright BB9 37 points

3rd Angela Flynn and Ian Smith 37 points

The ladies are now looking forward to the men’s invitation on 7th July.
