Dukes Course

Winners:  Putney Park

This year’s Keys Trophy was played on a Sunday, rather than a Saturday, to make it as easy as possible for the (Sunday) Association clubs to field a team. There were entries by Richmond Park, Putney Park and Centurions, however on the day the Centurions couldn’t raise their 4-man team, so the event was played out by Richmond Park and Putney Park only.

Richmond Park was represented by Graeme Syme, Kerry Sargeant, Toby Hunt and John Morris. Putney Park fielded two 5 handicappers, an 8 handicapper and a 15 handicapper. The format for the event is stroke play with full handicap allowance and all four scores accumulated.

Putney Park won the day with a cumulative net score of 280 (avge 70/player). Richmond Park scored a creditable 293 (avge 73/player), so it was a comfortable win for Putney Park. The best score was recorded by Putney Park’s Matt Jun (8) who got a net 63 (gross 71).
