A fantastic warm sunny day greeted fourteen mixed pairs for the annual Men's Invitation. The competition was opened with Bacon Roll's and followed by eighteen holes of American Greensomes.

Competition was particularly fierce and some good scoring resulted. By the close of play three pairs had pulled clear of a chasing pack. Ed and Gina placed third with 39 points, Pete H and Sheena second with 40 points and Graham and Veronica with an excellent 42 points claimed top spot.

As if this feast of good golf was not enough, after proceedings, we were treated to a fine BBQ to celebrate Handicap Secretary Paul's 60th Birthday which completed a perfect day's golf.

Many thanks to everyone who took part, it was an excellent turnout and as ever an absolute pleasure to have the ladies as our guests.

We are looking forward to the next two mixed events the Bontor Trophy and the Autumn Mixed.
