Ladies SPRING Weekend Away - Report
7-9 April
The winner of the overall Ladies competition and the Lockie Trophy is Susan Smith.
This year 24 of us went to Lingfield Park Marriott Golf and Country Club and enjoyed glorious sunshine for all three days. The course had lovely views of the surrounding countryside and race course and was widely agreed to be challenging!
The winner of the ladies 36 hole competition and the Lockie Trophy was Susan Smith with a grand total of 69 points. Second was Joan Mulcahy on 67 and third was Donna Wilson on 65.
The men's winner, for the second year running, was Jon Cooper and second was Peter Osgood.
A big thank you to Veronica who organised our stay, drafted the games order and purchased the prizes. The Lady Captain would like to say a special thank you for the Birthday cake and Champagne!
