Rusper GC Away day - Report
4 May

It was a dry day, mostly overcast, with a bracing wind from the northwest adding to the pleasure. Rusper GC is located in deepest east Surrey, and in my experience is one of the few golf courses that is not affected by road noise from any part of the course.

Course conditions were terrific, especially when compared with those we have been used to at home. On a quiet Wednesday, we had the facilities mostly to ourselves, no queues, no crowds.

Most of us found the course interesting and, with the wind conditions,  challenging. Indeed, two of the nearest-the-pin prizes went without claim as the greens remained untouched.

You could be right if you think 36 holes played in such conditions is complete bliss. Ask someone who attended for a full run down, and book your place on the next Away Day.
