Hoebridge GC Away day - Report

The away day went off very well, we had 20 members and guests and excellent weather.

After coffee, we played the 9 hole Shey Copse Course. The winner on 24 points was Tony Archdale who won on a count back from Vic Wadley with Geoff Foreman 3rd with 23 points.

Following lunch we played the main Hoebridge Course and the prizes were presented after a very well received dinner. The overall winner was Martin Wright who scored 39 points, 2nd was David Williams (not our treasurer but a guest) with 34 points and 3rd was Toby Hunt with 32 points following a count back.

The best front 9 went to Nick Heale with 18 points and the back 9 to Stewart Nash with 19 points.

There were also prizes for closest the pins and the winners were 2nd hole Anthony Williams, 12th Phil Flanagan and 18th Graham Hood (another guest and Molly's brother).
