Ladies Autumn Weekend Away - Report
15-17 September

29 people went to Tewkesbury for the Autumn weekend from 15th - 17th September 2006. the weather was sunny and warm for the three days.

The golf course was laid out around the hotel with attractive views over the surrounding countryside and Tewksbury Abbey. On Sunday we were treated to an hour of bell ringing from the Abbey.

The competitions took the usual format of an individual Stableford competition for each day and an overall winner and a team competition each day.

The Saturday team competition was a team ball format. Each member of the team played a team ball on each hole in rotation.

The Sunday team competition was tiered scoring - best one score for the 1st 6 holes, best two scores for the middle 6 holes and best three scores for the final 6 holes.

Prizes were also presented for nearest the pin each day.
